Introduction

Hello, and welcome to the island, i mean my blog...

From now until LOST starts again in February, reviews and my thoughts of all 103 episodes from 'Pilot, Part 1' all the way to 'The Incident, Part 2' will be posted. There will be 2, sometimes 3 posts a day so make sure you bookmark and check back frequently!

I will be doing two sorts of reviews. For the first and last episode of each season, i will be posting a full review, and for every other episode, i will just be posting notes and observations.

In the full review, each section of the episode is named after either a humorus or important line.

When season 6 start on February the 2nd, weekly reviews of the new episodes will be posted!

So please take a look, and comment on the posts, becuase i'd like feedback! When season 6 rolls around, i'd like to be an expert at writing these.

So, thank you, and, NAMASTE

102 Pilot, Part 2

Written by J.J. Abrams & Damon Lindelof

Directed by J.J. Abrams

Centric – Charlie/Kate

  • Charlie’s a druggie! There’s a surprise... a rock star on drugs... At least Ozzy Osbourne and Jimi Hendrix had more sense than that.
  • What else does a TV pilot need? Hot girl in a bikini... and Shannon pulls this of quit well.
  • Claire hasn’t felt her baby move since the crash... I’d be panicking a bit more if I were her...
  • Already there’s a spark between Michael and Sun... If Jin wasn’t such a ‘hard-ass’, then Sun and Michael would already be hooked up.
  • Ooo... Handcuffs... kinky... and Michael seemed to recognize them...
  • FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT! Sayid and Sawyer’s fight wasn’t the greatest fight in TV history, but was still fun to watch. And how stereotypical of Sawyer... just because Sayid is an Iraqi, doesn’t mean he’s a terrorist! And just because Sawyer’s a jackass, doesn’t mean he was the fugitive on the plane...
  • Jin the Korean fisherman, cooks up some odd looking food for the camp. Not being able speak English though, no-one knows what is is. Hurley refuses outwright, but Claire is brave an tries it... she likes it! And then the baby starts kicking again; much to Jin's delight as he is made to feel it.
  • They seem to have 1 of every profession on that island... Jack’s a doctor, Sayid was a soldier... More to come....
  • Ah... Sayid and Hurley... the start of a beautiful friendship...
  • Adventure number 2! Sayid wants to go to higher ground to get the transceiver working... Now who’s going to go with him...? Well Kate of course, she loves adventures. Shannon wants to go as well though? Well that means her brother’s going to tag along, and so will Charlie!
  • The man with some shrapnel is his leg... first Jack wasn’t going to take it out... now he is... is he a real doctor? I will be posting in interesting bit of news about him in the next post!
  • Oh... and now Sawyer wants to come on the hike...
  • Jack tells Michael that he saw a dog in the jungle... you didn’t think to mention that earlier
  • Locke and Walt have a little chat about backgammon... Locke wants to tell Walt a secret... I wanna know the secret!!
  • While on the hike, there hear something coming towards them... is it a bird? NO. Is it a plane? NO. Is it the MONSTER‽‽‽ NO! It’s a... polar bear? Yeah... a polar bear... weird right? Good job Sawyer just happens to have a gun to shoot it with! God bless theft.
  • Kate decided to take the gun apart so it can’t be used... Good thinking... especially since there are polar bears running around the jungle!
  • ... The fugitive on the plane was KATE!!! Wow... and the guy with the shrapnel in his leg is a US marshal bringing her back to the States!
  • Back on the hike, they reach a high point, so Sayid decides to turn on the transceiver to see if it works... It does! He picks up a message, the translation of which is... If anybody can hear this, they are dead. Please help us. I'll try to make it to the Black Rock. It killed them. It killed them all." This message has been playing on a loop for approximately 16 years... if the person who left that message had been rescued, then why is it still playing? So to quote Charlie... ‘Guys. Where are we?
